Your waiting-room television needs a reliably running programme. MedicScreen connects content management with a preconfigured mini PC and the player in kiosk mode.
Discuss setupConnect and pair the mini PC
The preconfigured mini PC connects to your screen and is assigned using a pairing code. We assess whether an existing screen is suitable during the consultation.
Connect using Wi-Fi or LAN
A stable network connection loads published content and current data. A screen and installation can be included if needed.
Start automatically in full screen
The player is prepared for kiosk operation and starts automatically after the mini PC boots. Restart after a power outage is included.
Assess interfaces deliberately
Patient calling and connections to existing practice systems depend on their interfaces. We assess technical feasibility individually; they are not a universally included standard integration.

You send us topics, text and images. MedicScreen turns them into patient information, team introductions and practice services for your waiting-room TV, then publishes them.
Can several screens be centrally managed in a practice?
Yes. Your waiting-room screens are centrally managed, and you decide which content appears where. Reception, waiting room and further locations can each have their own playlist and display duration.
Can practice information be scheduled?
Yes. Prepare a holiday notice or a seasonal preventive-care offer and define when it should appear. Scheduling lets you show information when it is relevant to patients.
Do we need a new screen?
No. If a suitable screen is already available, it can continue to be used. A new screen is optional and can be planned in if required.
Does MedicScreen work with Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi or LAN is sufficient. A stable connection is important so that content, weather data and publications load reliably.
What happens after a power outage?
The mini PC is prepared for kiosk operation and automatically restarts the player in full-screen mode.
Can we have content changed?
Yes. Send us changes, seasonal notices or new services. MedicScreen prepares the slides, agrees them with you and then publishes them.
Can patients be called via the screen?
Yes, as an optional add-on for €39 per month via the GDT interface. The local MedicScreen Bridge only sends the number and room to the waiting-room TV.
Which practice-management systems work with patient calling?
GDT-capable systems include CGM MEDISTAR, TURBOMED, ALBIS, medatixx, x.isynet, x.concept, x.comfort, Medical Office, T2med and tomedo. We check the specific version and configuration before setup.
Is integration with existing systems possible?
Yes, where the existing system provides a suitable interface or export. Technical feasibility is assessed individually.
How much does MedicScreen cost?
Packages start at €69 per month. Travel, installation and individual adaptation to practice colours and logo are quoted separately on request. View packages & pricing.
How quickly can MedicScreen be set up?
After coordination, the mini PC, access and initial content can be prepared. The exact timeframe depends on whether a screen is already available and whether on-site installation is required.
